In Honor of newyawker99


(I am not like her at all; I have NO IDEA how she found people who had just passed a mark every two or three days. I had to do this by myself as best I could, which is not very well. :( Sorry if I missed someone, but there are 136,534 of us. I will try to do this again next week end. You can help me do a better job by PMing me people who have passed a mark. Maybe we could also do birthdays and anniversaries.


Since this is my first real try at this AND I don't know how she caught people who had just passed a mark, I did not do it that way. I just scanned for people in several forums, and posted the range they were in, not as they had just passed a number like she did.

I also added three categories: Quiet Types, Birthdays, and Honored Elders. In real life, I am a quiet type, so I wanted to recognize those who don't post as much, but still have things to contribute.

Honored Elders are (with one exception) picked from an arbitrary date; I took those who have been here since 2002.)

So I figured that post total information was one of her mod powers, or maybe just one given to her. Kind of amazing for a non-mod to do this much work. Plus, NY99 made it easier on herself. The milestones were 100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 10000, 15000, 20000, 25000, 30000, 40000. Of course a 40,000 milestoner would not just be part of the milestones thread, they would get their own thread like

First because TallahasseeGrannie is not active to my knowledge. A search shows her last post in the lounge in Feb. 2007. Second, she has 12,900 or so posts and thus must have passed 12,000 a long time ago.
