Now I am sick. Running fever and all. |

How do I keep from playing tag with this damn virus. I bleach and wash everything. Bella was sick, then me, then her, now me again. AAAHHHHH!!!!! WTF?

Sounds like neither of you have completely thrown off your virus. You can feel better but NOT be totally done with the infection. I would recommend both you and Bella go to the doc. Sounds like influenza maybe.

3. Bella has been 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Hers is a viral infection, but |
|
it isn't the flu. She can only have certain meds since she isn't yet 6 months. Mine sort of feels flu-ish, but I don't know. The only thing I notice is the fever which makes me kinda ache-y I guess. No nasal-y stuff or cough.

THAT illness. Just recovered here. It's icky and will. NOT. go. away. Some viruses you just can't escape. :(
FWIW, you may not be passing it back and forth. If you guys have the same one that MG Jr. and I had, the fever runs for a few days, and then it moves to the nose/chest/cough ickies, then goes BACK to a fever for a few days about a week, week and a half later. The good news is after the second round of fever, it's over except for the coughing. I'm still phlegmy, but luckily Jr. isn't coughing anymore.
Still... :(

7. Thanks. It was wicked. |
|
The only good thing was it didn't seem to affect Jr's stomach, which is a first. I swear, that kid could break his arm and end up throwing up for a week.
Also FWIW, my doc said (after the fact, as I didn't see her when I had it) that it sounded like the flu, even though it didn't do a gastric number on us. I suppose it doesn't matter--an icky virus is an icky virus by any name.
I promise you will be fully recovered by the end of the week! :hi:

Plus lowered immune system from the stress of new parenthood, too.
 just hang in there - it's part of parenthood.

6. Whatever this horrible crap is that is hitting people all over the place |
|
It keeps coming back for more.
Have had it since before Xmas, two rounds of antibiotics for secondary infection, and it won't go away. My granddaughter caught it right after the new year, and is still coughing with the post-nasal drip that won't go away.
Hope the coming Spring finds you all feeling better and totally recovered

8. I hope you two feel better soon. |

Today is the first day in 2 weeks that I'm feeling somewhat normal. This cold going around is a really nasty one and is so difficult to shake.
