Kittimus Prime has a very large obstruction

in his urethra. It is pushing on his colon so WannaB's little boy can't go pee pee or poots. But, he's in the kitty hospital being drained and pain killered and hydrated and he should be home in 3 days. Poor little goofy guy.

3. I spent two weeks taking a cat in with the same problem (every day, a couple overnights)

Eventually one of the X-rays showed a softball-sized tumor near his bladder - shutting off both pipes as you describe. He wasn't even that old, 7 or so. They didn't think surgery was likely to succeed and we ended up putting him down (after spending a frightening amount, but he was worth it). I so hope things go better for your little guy. 22. are they going to do a urethral resection? one of mine had that and it

really helped. It isn't cheap but what it does is make the urethra rounder and more like a female's.

In fact we referred to it as his sex change operation .... the boy kitties have so much trouble with this issue.

He will most likely need some kind of special food.

24. Yes. that is what they're doing...

and we called it his sex change too. The vet said it will pretty much solve the whole problem and be more comfortable for him and cheaper for us.
If we didn't have the surgery , this would definitely happen again and I don't want to see him go through it.
