My furnace was finally fixed this evening after the blower motor and the squirrel cage both went out on Thursday night. It's been cold. :(

I'm just so happy that you'll be warm again. Does the "fix" look like it is going to work? And has the landlord said anything about actually replacing the unit?

36. The blower motor was replaced

and the squirrel cage was spot welded. It should hold until the rest of the unit is replaced. It's 20 years old. He just bought himself a little time. No idea how much.

Honestly, I'm glad I didn't have to go through a replacement. I've done that in two houses I owned and it's a bigger pain.
