... it's pretty well established that real life people can be transformed into cartoons and, ipso facto, can then later be remogrified back into flesh and blood living persons. All we know is that flesh-and-blood people can be cartoonified and later restored to normal. I submit that the initial flesh-and-blood form is a necessary component because it provides the template for uncartoonification. Without this, the process simply wouldn't work.
