I just hid a thread for the first time. |
|
I saw a thread title about the world's longest ear hair. I still have PTSD symptoms from the article about the man from India with the longest fingernails. The image pops into my head randomly. Oh man was that disgusting. But I know that if I left that ear hair thread there, sooner or later, I would succumb to temptation.
Then I remembered the hide thread feature. I finally used it. Thank you DU designers for so many site features!

1. I have to hide the ones about animal abuse |

I figure it's best for my blood pressure not to see it sitting there, even if I don't click on it.

Perhaps my favorite DU feature.
I shaved my share of ears in my time as a hairdreser. Women and men. However, my greatest day was when I got my Dad in my chair. He had one of those crazy old man eyebrow hairs that drove my mother, my sister and me insane. We would beg him to let us cut it but he wouldn't.
I gave him his haircut and as I was facing him, I just reached up with my scissors and snipped that bugger right off. The look on his face was priceless.
