the day just needs to end! |
|
So it took me over an hour to get home due to snow, slick roads and creative parking jobs on the highway.
I finally get home, skid trying to pull in the driveway and barely miss a tree.
I get myself in the driveway, get out and mutter something like "that was a shitty drive", at which point I fall flat on my ass in the driveway, purse goes flying and of course it is not secured shut so everything is all over.
:rofl::cry::banghead::rofl:

I am supposed to go to a friend's house for dinner - they live on the same road, just a mile or so away, but somehow I don't think I will be going unless the snow stops.
I should also get outside and put my car IN the barn, instead of next to it - save myself some snow removal.
I won't forget the tea - it is Kava tea - have you tried it before?

5. The real question is... would it be easier/safer to walk than to drive? |

13. Ewww. Yeah, I've been there. |
|
No slick roads, this was in FL. But I lived near a college campus so drunk drivers are about equal to regular drivers on slick roads.

7. Thats why I don't do ice. |
|
Well at least you didn't do what I did a few years back..Slam into a low hanging ice covered branch hurting your face..ride in to work on public transport and after looking in the mirror discover you went all that way with both tree sap on your face AND have a swollen and slightly bleeding nose..:banghead:

I don't like the ABS on my new car either - my old one would not skid like that. :nuke:

Everything is starting to make sense now.
We must talk - ice could be the answer to all your problems.
Wait. What are we talking about again? :hide:
