When is a baby considered old? Is there a cutoff date between a 'new' and 'old' baby?

1. Not really. What's that family that puts out babies every ten months or so?
I imagine with them you have to distinguish between the last three or four somehow.

And then there's the curious case of Benjamin Button...

2. That's true.
I think you are referring to the Duggars, and in their case, they could have a newborn and an 11 month old, who would both be considered babies.

5. As opposed to a "used" baby? A "Pre-Owned" baby?
Frankly, I think that IF you are gonna get one, most folks are gonna be forced to go with a new one in most cases.

There just aren't that many low mileage babies out there.

It's pretty much a new baby or no baby at all.

13. if one were to use the adult sense of the word
as in Hey Baby = Hey Babe

my having a new one of those would be decriptive and fair.

If only it were true.....

14.  When babies get past their Expiration Date...
"Aren't all babies "new" by default?"

When babies get past their Expiration Date (i.e., when the novelty has worn off and the parents stop giggling every time they change a diaper), it's an "old baby" :)

17. "New baby" as in "newly born, not a few months old" or as in
"the new baby of my family, as opposed to the former baby of the family, who is now three years old"
