How's this for an interesting situation tonight ...
Mrs. ZBDent met a friend for dinner.

When the check arrived for Mrs. ZBD and me, it came to $34.32. I took a $50 bill, and 32 cents. Paid the bill.

Waiter came back with the change.

After he left, I opened it up, and noted that there was a twenty alongside seven ones.

Hmm ...

I did the right thing. (Not the "Right" thing).

After I got the waiter's attention, I informed him that he had given me wayyyy too much money. $11 extra in change, as I figured. I even joked that I thought I'd give him a twenty as a tip, but it wouldn't mean as much if his numbers were in error. (Actually, it would have been a $9 tip then, even better than the 20% tip I did leave).

He was very grateful that I was honest with him.

Hey, times are tough, right? Why screw this guy, who did a good job with us?

Just thought I'd share a GOOD story with you folks ... (and it's true.)
