The coolest thing just happened to me...

This is kind of a long story, but I need to set this up.

About three months ago, a guy I work with came to me and asked me to do him a favor. A friend of his named Bob had recently passed away, and they were having a memorial service for him. Bob was an avid pilot, and participated in the anniversary of Doolittle's Raid by flying a B-25 off of the deck of an aircraft carrier. My friend at work was part of a crew that filmed the guys getting the plane ready, and then the actual flight.

So, they wanted to put a video together for the memorial, but the sound was all over the place. He asked me if I could improve it, and I said I would certainly try. So, I spent a few hours editing the sound and mixing it so it sounded decent and recorded it back to their video. My friend told me that everyone loved the video and what I did with the sound.

Well, he just popped his head in and told me that he had something for me. I went out to his car and he presented me with a hand carved B-25 that used to sit in Bob's office (the pilot of the B-25.). I asked my friend if the family should have it and he said, "they wanted you to have it."

I am blown away.
