I turned the garden dirt in preparation for planting this week. (I love the south) |

I am planting my early crops this week. Onions, lettuce, beets, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage & spinach. I'm going to turn it again after the rain we get tonight & then into the ground with the seeds. Being a single guy I am only going to plant a small bit of the stuff I can't can & try to have enough beets, onions & spinach to last til next year. I am going to grow squash, melons, green beans, corn, peppers, cucumbers, tomato's & eggplant this summer. I'm also planting some white grapes & fruit trees this week. I added a second garden area & will use one for the early crops & the other for my summer crops. I will replant for a late crop planting in the fall. I'm really going to get into it this year.
Any of y'all get hungry you can drop on by!
