I got my eyebrows threaded today
very odd sensation, I've been pierced, tattooed, waxed, plucked, and nip and tucked......this just felt weird and didn't think I would do it again until I saw how kick ass they came out. I highly recommend it to all the waxers and pluckers out there. Not to be a photo whore tonight but I want to show how good they came out. :woohoo:

8. yes
especially with my ultra sensitvie skin and mcs
after she threaded me, she used lotiion to sooth, I kind of freaked because I'm allergic to so many, but she used witch hazel and avveno......which I can handle. Yes I should have asked ahead of time, but man I was having one hell of a day and it didn't even occur to me. anyway.......yes very good, no redness at all

9. I love threading
Honestly your eyebrows looks so smooth an perfect with threading. Way better than waxing. I wish there was a place around here that did it but unfortunately I live out in the boonies.

14. I've heard of threading but don't really understand the concept. You wrap a thread around the hair
Edited on Sat Feb-21-09 09:10 PM by applegrove
and pluck it out that way? Is that how it goes?

***I just read the link. Now I understand threading better. Thanks.

15. LOVE threading! Best thing ever for eyebrows!
There is kiosk at the mall that does threading and henna tats. I actually go to the mall just so see that woman--she's THAT good. I take Material Girl there sometimes for a henna tat for special occasions. She thinks it is the coolest thing in the world.

The one down side to threading eyebrows is that I swear those little hairs grow back much darker than they were before. You have got to keep it up once you start.

16. That looks great!
I've heard that threading works very well but I doubt there's anybody around here who does it - and if there were I'd have to visit twice a week.
