We got the bridal gown!

What fun! Will and Cailen, her Mom and her Aunt came up for the weekend. I've met Mom once and have never met Cailen's Aunt. What nice people. Friday night I had dinner for 12 (some of my friends came) and yesterday we had an appointment at a Bridal Shop in Keene. For anybody in this part of the word I would highly recomment this place...Pamela Moore Bridals...this woman really knows what she's doing. 3 hours later and a dozen dresses, Cailen had her dream dress. For me, not having a daughter, it was such fun and it was touching watching Cailen and her Mom. Anyway, last night we went to dinner at the restaurant of the chef who is catering this affair...wonderful food.

What I liked most about this weekend was how well these two kids are handling this. I have said to them that it's not about the wedding...it's about the marriage and they have really taken that to heart. And I like her family....and I like just about everything about this! I'm thrilled, for Will and for me.

Oh, and by the way, everything is simpler in New Hampshire. Making wedding arrangements in Boston would have been a nightmare. People still do things on a handshake up here.

Do we get to see what the bride looks like in the dress? I expect it probably needs to be adjusted - most bridal gowns do, but please let us see the final result!

4. No way, we have to keep it a secret from Will. But I will say that it

is off-white and very simple...classic. Cailen is no bigger than a minute so she would look good in anything.
