8. You'll be saving lots of money....that's what everyone keeps telling me
so, if I sock away what I would spend a week just in cigarettes I would have a small fortune at the end of the year....look at it that way

9. Good vibes on the way! I became a nonsmoker on March. 16, 1996 after 20+ years
I suggest you look at it as a gain (becoming a nonsmoker) rather than a loss (giving up cigarettes). I think that helps feed the positive vibes that we are all sending to you. :yourock:

11. Vibes and I suggest the patch
Even if you think its more psychological - the patch will cut down the craving element

And Nicotine, in small amounts in varied places (always put the patch in a different spot) is harmless

Trust me - the patch cured me.

13. I quit 12 of so years ago after smoking two packs plus a day for 30 years
Of course, I quit many times as you probably have. Get some of the quit smoking helpers. Don't try it without help because chances are better if you use a patch or a pill or some method of help.

Not a day goes by that I'm not grateful.

1. You'll be able to smell again
2. You'll stop smelling like stale cigarettes
3. Your house, your clothes, and your car will stop smelling like ashtrays
4. Your sense of taste will come back and you'll love tasting again
5. In order not to gain too much weight use gum, and tic-tacs. Tic-tacs are very low in calories. You can also get sour candies if you get tired of the sweetness.
5. You'll enjoy going to movies, restaurants and to visit your non-smoking friends without the thought of a cigarette ruining your enjoyment
6. You won't be distracted with cravings when you're working, playing, taking a walk or driving.
7. YOU'LL BE ABLE TO BREATHE AGAIN WITHOUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT!

Just remember that if you fail you can try again and again.

15. Go for it! Please do quit.
There are other things that can help you quit smoking. Like a heart attack requiring a pacemaker, or a triple heart bypass. I don't wish either of these things on you.

These two things helped the smokers in my family quit... because they literally couldn't anymore plus when you're hospitalized for a long time you can't smoke in hospital.

So please... do quit this one. Oh and to help make it worthwhile, actually get the money that you would have spent on tobacco products away somewhere - savings account, a jar, whatever. Watch it amount up - especially if you're in a high tobacco tax state.

Again, all my best, Mark.

16. Vibes. I quit using Champix/Chantix. And I'm 8 months quit and my lungs feel great.
Just get over the first 6 weeks and then you are free and clear. Try the quitnet.com too. Vibes.
