That dress was awful and I just rolled my eyes when Miley bragged about what a great find it was.

The dress itself wasn't a bad dress but just not a dress for her. I could see someone like Sarah Jessica Parker wearing that dress. Miley should have contacted Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren or Armani to find her a great dress for her age.

She knows better than to let the dress be the focus--away from her own natural beauty and incredible figure. That simple, yet incredibly beautiful black dress drew all the attention to her. As opposed to some of those frumpy looks that were so damned overdone. Some of those fru fru dresses made them look like statues on a wedding cake (or Glenda, the Good Witch--cue Sarah Jessica Parker).

No question at all. But, the entire package (cascading hair, "boobage," poofy poofy hoop skirt, and somewhat overly done makeup) was just too much, IMO. SJP is a gorgeous lady. She doesn't need all of that.

Actually, I didn't think Miley's dress was bad--but not really in keeping with her youth, IMO. I'll bet it was very pretty in person, which is probably true of most of the dresses. Unfortunately, their stylists never learn that some colors (especially very pale colors and shades of white) do not come through on tv, no matter how much lace and sequins. Rich Color or black always look better.

I like Angelina Jolie's the best. Phoebe Cates looks very dowdy; whoever asked if she was using Laura Bush's designer was spot on. I don't care for those mermaid dresses; they don't flatter anybody. Marisa Tomei looks the best, judging from these pictures but it's just not an attractive look.
