Before I order this computer memory, could someone tell me
if this is correct. I tried to call NewEgg.com because their prices are lowest. They don't offer technical support at all.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?submit=ENE&Configurator=MemoryConfigurator&CFG=CFG003300X (DDR)&DEPA=0

The computer I have is a Gateway 300X. The memory I pulled out of the case has the following on the label:

256MB, DDR, 333MHx, CL2.5

The memory on the NewEgg web page matches EXCEPT for the MHz. My chip is 333, their product is 266. I was told that this isn't a problem. Is this correct?

I want to go to a full 1gig by ordering (2) 512 units. This computer is used for client work and cannot be replaced until I have steady income.

Thanks!!
