I would like to strangle the writing staff of Heroes.
In order to save themselves, they seem to be digging an even larger hole.

AHHHHHHHH! :banghead:

1. Is Jeph Loeb still one of the writers?
I gave up watching back in early season 2. If he's still on there, that ought to explain the suck and then some. Man's one of the worst writers I've ever seen.

...I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that his son's death screwed him up, but he was a shitty writer even before the poor kid died.

2. Somewhat OT, but can I parachute in at this point and even remotely
grasp what's going on?

For some reason I never started watching but I have heard good things. As an X-Men fan I feel obligated, although I know Heroes is not exactly the same thing.....

3. i loved Heroes but after the first episode of the new season this year that was it.
it's ruined, they're all over the place and the window on fixing it and coming back is closing rapidly.

4. My Monday night TV/Movie viewing group feels the same way
We've ditched Heroes for that very reason, and have begun watching other stuff instead. That show is a mess.

8. I like Chuck, too.
You don't have to catch it every week; it's got a sweet heart at its core; lots of funny lines; usually some passably good action scenes every week.

Just pleasant and good, IMO.

:hi:

5. I blame NBC's development department.
A good show stays good through good oversight of overall storyline. That did not happen here.

I'm very disappointed, because I always looked forward to the show on Mondays.

7. i don't understand why they've done so many story lines with so many characters,
they've sacrificed quality for quantity.

10. It got bitten by the "Can it be more exciting?" bug.
It became an instant hit and NBC (well the producers of the show) decided to broaden its appeal, I'll bet. We can see the results.
