The Face of Evil
Oh, I know he doesn't look like it, but this young boy turned out to be a holy terror in our house....

Meet Bailey. A Beagle/Lab mix. At the shelter we adopted him from his name was Basil, which we quickly nixed.

He can be a very good boy. Just not very often.

5. THAT pic?? OMG! You are tricking me!
(Spoken from someone whose pets plot to kill me at times!)

One almost succeeded. I broke my face!

Good thing I love the little shits.

7. Yes I did.
I got up to go to the biffy in the middle of the night, and my clingy "snarly butt" cat decided to help. His help means walking right in front of me.

It was dark, I didn't see him. As soon as I stepped on him and he squealed, I lifted up my foot immediately. And then fell flat on my face.

Yes, I broke my face. My mother came flying out of bed because she thought the refrigerator fell over. It was just me falling on my face after I tried to save the cat. Blood everywhere, and I had to get stitches.

Numerous xrays after that. I also had a broken eye orbit.

I'm going to step on the damned cat next time.

10. Yes, they are...
And yet I still love him.

When the shelter heard some of the mischief he was getting into they told us we could bring him back. I couldn't even fathom doing that.

11. What is he doing that's so evil? I have a dog from hell, myself.
We're gonna have to replace the hardwood flooring in the dining room. You can guess why.

12. We brought a new kitty into the house...
And he just will not leave it alone. He wants to get near it in the worst way. The kitty gets so freaked out he runs and hides in the bathroom. Bailey is fine with the other cats in the house, but Toeby won't go near him so he tries to find ways to get to him. He can be very creative. Most evil creatures can.

14. Ahh... Does Toeby have all his claws? If so, I'd bet Bailey will rue
the day he decided to stalk poor Toeby. :)

16. No, Toeby was a declawed stray...
Found outside in the wilds of Upper Michigan.

But he's too nervous to get near anyone other than the other kitties.

13. Maybe he's angry that you're calling him Bailey.
When he CLEARLY looks more like a BASIL.

And beagles are frequently seen as "sleuths".
