To get it started I submit:



The Presto Hot Dogger.

I don't know how we ended up with one of these things, but Mom made hot dogs with it once. If you like your hot dogs bent, crispy on the ends and cold in the middle, with a not-so-subtle hint of burned plastic and electrical smoke.... Then, this puppy is for YOU!!!!

8. I'm fairly certain that ours self destructed during the first use...
I seem to recall dad (an electrical engineer) dismantling the thing and wondering who at the CSPC was driving a new Cadillac for passing it...

although it made lousy hot dogs, silly kid that I was, I thought it might do better with Italian sweet sausages.
