I know it's a few years old, but I have both this guy's books, and 3 DVD's. I saw something a PBS, and HAD to get all I could on this guy.

DIck Proenneke, a man who made his own cabin at Twin Lakes in Alaska. A fascinating read!

LOL, Mr Gray and I were trying to decide if he'd be a liberal or a republican in these times.

I should pick up the book, tho. I love people like him.

Which are wonderful to read! The 2005 set of journal include the years 1976-1980. Check it out!
