My sleep pattern is off lately, and it's pissing me off

Yesterday morning I woke up at 4:30 (I'm usually up at 5:45). This was not one of those mornings where I was going to fall back to sleep.... so I got up and had some coffee... watched some early news....

Last night I was totally exhausted by 8:30, so I went to bed. Well, this morning I was up at 3:15. I refused to get up that early, so I stayed in bed, and was awake until about 4:30 or so... but then getting up at 5:45 was next to impossible.

I'm a firm believer of going to bed when you're tired. But if I'm going to end up waking up at 3 am.... Maybe I should re-think my strategy.

I'm going through it, too. My husband seems to believe it's some kind of personal affront -- i.e., "why aren't you sleeping? What is WRONG?" (Like I'm doing it on purpose...)

I keep hearing that this happens during perimenopause. Of course, you are too young and glamorous to be going through this. ;-)

2. My sleep is all over the place. Not restful at all and it takes me a while to fall asleep which I

hate hate hate. For the last 18 I have slept mostly like a log because of the medication I was on. Now this. I don't know what to do.

I've been up at midnight and 1am, mostly because the dogs want to go out. They have me trained.

7. Could you stay up late Friday night, that way you could always sleep late

on the weekend, if you are tired.
