I should have picked "crusty" because that's what I grew up on--no flimsy Wonder bread in my Italian household.
And lately I've been jonesing for regular sliced bread like the kind I had in England. I don't know what makes it different from Murkin sliced bread--it's...denser. Less air, more goodness. I used to LOVE having plain ol' toast in the morning there, because the bread was so good. :9

It's wonderful stuff, especially fresh from the oven. I like many kinds of bread. I'm baking some whole wheat sourdough bread right now (well, not actually baking; it's still rising).
