My wife thinks I should become a respiratory therapist. Any advice?

I'm a writer by trade but have been "underemployed" for about 4 years now. What are the requirements and how hard is it?

1. I think it involves something about knowing how breathing works or some junk.

3. ahhhhhh, my wife is a rt.

she has a two year degree. i am not keen personally with the idea of working with phelgm and such, but she generally enjoys her work.

4. If you dig phlegm. Actually, it can be kind of cool. A lot of action

in the ER. Do you smoke? Funny think, just about everyone I know in Respiratory smokes. Go figure.
