My father is soooooo twisted.... |
|
He posted this little rant and I commented that no wonder I am so damaged as no one should have to read or hear their parent use the word "smegma"
REPUBLICAN SHIT BAGS PLUMB NEW DEPTHS OF LUNACY! When will this scurrilous, racist filth end? The picture below is a bit of "humor" posted by the Republican mayor of Los Alamitos, California. This bit of rank political smegma "compliments" the current bilious, deranged horse shit on right wing-nut blogs (and CNN and Fox!) where the "how many angels can fit on the head of a pin" religious "thinkers" are earnestly trying to determine whether Obama is the Antichrist or Hitler - there are apparently important doctrinal nits to be picked over this critical subject.'
His response to my concern:
'You kids are just soft. I remember when I was a kid my parents used to say smegma all the time Smegma was real popular back then - it had a thousand practical household uses - it was the WD-40 of the Eisenhower years. You need to toughen up if you're gonna successfully face the challenges of bleak, dystopic future our "g-g-g--generation" has bequeathed you. Don't get all teary eyed thanking us neither!'

to my kid when he was little. Fortunately he didn't understand the words, but the melody is sweet.
I also sang Surfer Girl, since it has a lullaby-ish tone.

6. He is a poet with profanity... |
|
and a truly disturbing spinner of tales. He also took me to see A Clockwork Orange at Ripon College when I was 7, I think that should get me a free pass from a lot of dysfunction :P
