Here at the happy hippie Boulder coffee shop.
I see a few here, their heads buried in their hands, thinking thoughts of revolution.

I see many others dressed in their Eddie Bauer best, wondering if they can pencil in time for a revolution in between their Aspen vacation and their children's tennis lessons.

And then there are the students like me... I haven't yet conceived of a revolution, but I am busy at work, plotting and planning. Victory soon will be mine.

1. I love Boulder
Edited on Fri Feb-27-09 01:57 PM by SCantiGOP
My sister lives in Greeley, which is not very attractive, but her in-laws live in Boulder. I was out there this summer; flew to Albuquerque then took the incredible drive up through the Rockies to Denver.

We spent an evening in Boulder; it reminded me of my college atmosphere back in the early 70s. There was a kid playing guitar with his case open for contributions. His sign said, "If you don't support me there won't be anything left but real estate agents and Republicans." Everybody that noticed it laughed and dropped something in the case. And, by the way, thank you for turning your state blue last year. Looks like it will stay that way for a while.

8. I spent six months in Boulder.
Much as John Lennon had his 18-month "Lost Weekend" period, I refer to that as the "Lost Semester" of my college years.
