3. A rant

Did the judges take positive pills tonight? The only half-decent performance has been Lil, and her vocals sound like many already on the radio IMO. What Danny did wasn't singing - it was shouting.

And Simon really let it slip with his "art on Idol?" comment.

Must have been something that makes everyone into seeming great. Allison was fine, but her voice didn't connect like it did on "Alone." And Kris was just so unmemorable.

Megan had personality, but the song didn't sound like a good song, so the performance wasn't so great

I just don't "get" Adam. He seems all over the place with his singing.

They tried to get a girl on the show this year who had two record contracts and relationships with the producers. They had two girls on the show last year who had record contracts in the past. I've come to expect it.

17. Megan was much worse than not great

I thought her performance was embarrassingly bad. She was bad during the wild card show too.

I like Adam. I think his performances are entertaining.

I don't like most of the people this year. I hate how she "dirtied up" her image (she should have ignored the judges' advice on this). She seems like a young girl playing dress-up. Or to use a Simon-like saying, "She's like a kitten trying to be a tiger." She's a average singer. Maybe she'll get better.

I think there is some good soul in that voice.. she just didn't pick the best song tonight. To me, her young looks make the big vocals more amazing.
