Movies: Starsky and Hutch |
Instant classic. I know there were some DUers who were upset with the movie, thinking it would be an embarrassment to the original show. It's not degrading at all. It does point out the extremities of the characters, and pokes fun at that culture and fashion of the time. But it includes the ever funny Will Ferrel, and the original Starsky and Hutch actors. Every thing's pretty authentic, and the show has a great ending. It's similar to how the Austin Powers movies are to James Bond. No body began to think less of 007, but many understood some of the crazy stuff that goes on in every movie, even though they love Bond anyway. I think this is a film for all of you.

2. This movie is a threat to those who oppose the passion for bell bottoms |
This movie is a clear threat to those who opposed the entire bell bottom movement. It is sure to instill a renewed love of bell bottoms in its adherants and there will be packs of bell bottom wearers wandering the streets forcing us to wear bell bottoms. Its a crime it tell ya. /irony off
