8. Good morning MissH!
Don't think I'll be wearing green today, unless there's something deep in my closet that I can come up with.

Yesterday was such a splendid day, temps in the 60's. Everyone was in a grand mood, shedding their winter jackets, just walking around and smiling. I think today's is going to be a repeat. :)

10. Yes, that is so true,
especially in these parts where winter just seems to linger on, we truly appreciated the first warm, sunny days.

When you catalog such old books, must you wear those fancy white gloves? It must be thrilling to handle such books.

I didn't miss you today! :woohoo: :bounce:

I would have liked to see some of this rain last summer when we were trying to grow grass. It's really hard to get used to after living in FL. I don't think we ever had more than 3 days of rain in a row (unless you can count an afternoon shower as "rain") down there ... and can't remember many times when we had more than 2. I swear, sometimes I think I'll never see the sun again! :scared:

You're sweet. Once you get the power, I'll be looking for that sunshine!

Is this search correct: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?ld=212.207&seqnr=2&ident=5i.013601207.1237295594&rt=1&OK#focus

Sunday, I was at a karaoke memorial party by chance. One of the karaoke regulars died last week and the karaoke DJ set up a special edition karaoke night in his honor. It was an original concept, and I thought it was a great idea. I'll have to start a post, but I have training most of the day today. :P

50. Yes
and since the honored deceased was a Frank Sinatra fan, all of the songs were classic rock and country. I didn't know about the event, I was at the sports bar after going to a sport and social club (new name for singles' club) get-together with my friend who is a member. The DJ asked me if I wanted to sing, and I said yes, of course. I know the DJ because the regular karaoke night is Saturday.

My songs were "Redemption Song" by Bob Marley and "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray.

I got one phone call from a trucker in Maine but the Broker couldn't get us together for a Monday run. It was too late for a Friday trip. x( We would have been stuck at a truck stop for the weekend.

I'm sending out intro letters by snail mail and giving out business cards to every escort I see stopped anywhere. My next self advertising move will be to fax or email an intro letter to trucking companies and brokers if I haven't already mailed em a letter.

BTW ~ How did your date with the moving man go?
