Take a cracker and some butter or cheese and spread. Put about a bowls worth of bud on top of the butter or cheese. Microwave just long enough to get it bubbling. Once it starts to bubble count to ten and then stop the microwave. Cool and enjoy!

Let me warn you, this isn't a joke. Eating THC is a lot different than smoking it and it may get too intense for you. Try a pinch or a halfbowl before you go into full mode.

I remember being wasted for hours after eating it vs smoking it. Definitely a holiday weekend activity. :D

22. Oh I know eating THC is a vastly different experience from smoking it

I ate some brownies one evening and was still "under the influence" the next day at work. I HAD to stay at work to get my paycheck but I was puking in the restroom. My supervisor thought I had the flu, gave me my check early, sent me home, and told me to stay home the next day. The THC wore off 24-36 hours after I ate the brownies so I needed that extra day. :eyes:

And then there was the batch of THC granola we ate before going to an old Japanese Godzilla movie. That was a completely surreal experience. :crazy:

I don't do that stuff any more. Now I hate taking my Vicodin for pain and treasure the days I can be drug free. Getting old sucks.

9. Vaporizer?

I recently tried one and was um.. pleasently surprised. No smoke - just THC vapor. I feel my lungs will thank me one day. Other than that I prefer bong hits since the water will cool the smoke and filter at least some of the nasty from it. However there is something to also be said for a nice big fat joint as well. heheh... :smoke:

It had been ages since I'd been to a concert (I think my last was a monster show with five bands--original Def Leppard, Judas Priest, the Scorps, AC/DC, and. . . ??) and went to one a couple years ago with my son. I couldn't figure out why in hell people were holding their cell phones up until it was explained to me that no one carries a lighter anymore. Honestly--a concert without that blue haze overhead just seems like something's missing. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so it wasn't necessarily bad--just undeniable evidence there's been a generational shift I wasn't aware of. *sigh*

Sometimes we'd have a "session" where everyone would chip in a buck, we'd pick up an oz for 20, then we'd all go up into someone's room and nobody would leave the room until the oz was done. This was usually in the afternoon, then after going out for munchies we'd come back to go to a party and start in on the keg.

I remember "lids"...4-finger bags selling for 10 bucks; stems and seeds included.

Back in the mid-70's a buddy of mine had this hookah, and we would put a full lid of (cleaned) pot in there and toke away with whoever stopped by.

I quit in the 80's, but had the pleasure of enjoying some of our excellent Humboldt-grown sinsemilla before I did.

However...a couple of years ago my boss turned me on to a nice purple-hair bud about the size of 1/2 my thumb; I made a carb out of tinfoil and tp tube, went out on the front porch, and took about 6 nice, fat hits...

And for the next 2 hours all I could think of was that this 53 year old father of two was gonna' have a pot-induced heart attack... :rofl:

My, it has grown in strength, and cost, over the years. :D

I remember those $10 lids. Does anybody use that word anymore? Where did it originate, anyway? I totally know what you mean about the "newer" strength/effects. I rarely partake anymore - just can't handle blowing off that much time and unless I have had a fair amount of alcohol I tend to paranoia so it just isn't fun anymore. I wish the improved flavor could be turned into something less intoxicating because I can see nothing better than to go on a ride (horse) and recreate one of those iconic visions of a rider crouched on his heels, horse resting to his side, gorgeous sunset in the background and a stream of smoke rising from his hand rolled.

I also quit in the '80s, 1987 to be exact, when I couldn't handle the strength of whatever the heck I smoked with a rock band at a barbecue. Then at my 40th birthday party I had a few hits for old times' sake. I can relate to what you said about your experience a couple of years ago: I don't think this 54 year old could handle it any more.
