3. Oh my god-I have actually watched parts of both games this weekend |
|
I was going to do a long post on this
First of all-according the announcer you would think the Nats are undefeated. Everyone is "tied for third in the NL" in some category. Dunn, the team BA, etc.
They flat out blew the game last night at least twice
they have a shortstop in DC named "Alberto Gonzalez". I know that is a common name and this is COMPLETELY unwarranted but I can't resist
"How many outs are there?" Alberto "I don't recall"
"Hey Alberto aren't you supposed to cover the bag when the ball goes to the right side" "I don't recall"
Lastly-was anyone actually AT the game yesterday? They kept showing the same section of 30 people over and over.
I do have to say this-it is great to put on for an afternoon nap. You can wake up at any time and see the Nats blow the game. Though you wouldn't know it listening to the announcers.

11. i was at that game yesterday, and yeah, there weren't many there |
|
i was in the second row from the field and for most of the game, only 1 other person was in the row with me. As soon as the marlins tied it in the 9th, a LOT of nationals fans left the game.

10. You'll get no sympathy from me. |

We've got the worst bullpen I've ever seen. And I've seen the 2008 Cardinals bullpen.
