self-esteem killers
1. Going up to the grocery store entrance and the motion sensor won't acknowledge my existence and open the door - even though it works fine for everyone else.

2. Googling ingredients I have on hand that I think would make a nice cake - and getting "Dog Treat Recipes" as a result.

:(

2. Nope.
I did until I got a fiance and the dog wouldn't stop humping his leg.

3. I hate it when the world seems to have glitches in it like that.
:(

Please don't take it personally. It seems to happen to almost everyone at times. It's not just you.

5. OMG, no, I didn't realize you had changed your name.
Or, if I knew then I had forgotten.

I have missed you a hell of a lot. :loveya:

I'm very glad you're still around. :)

6. Driving a winding road one beautiful spring day, you see a nice looking
man riding a motorcycle also enjoying the day. For a moment your mind
drifts from the “to-do” list and budget you’ve adjusted all week, worries
about paying for daycare when you just bought your own little home. Only a
brief daydream that you could ride with your arms around that man, his white
t-shirt warmed by the sun, your head on his shoulder, riding away for the day,
and you murmur, “Sure, I’ll ride with you, mister…”

Then a kid pipes up, “Grandma! You’re too old.”

Splat.

8. Honest little squirt. Had her convinced she was grounded for awhile
until I started laughing. Then explained daydreams
and how even Grandmas daydream about riding away
for a fun day.

;-)
