Freezin' my buns off in coastal Alabama
There's been a howling gale out of the north all day.
No rain, just wind.
Whitecaps on the bay.
Temps in the low 50s tonight.
We're getting the down comforter back out.
Nice.
:-)

1. Weird weather in central FL too.
Same cold front, I think. Rained all damned day long.

9. Gulf Coast has been cloudy and rainy all day as well.
Personally, I love it when it's like this.

7. It's been strange weather all year so far.
I won't be surprised if the monsoon starts early here too.

10. What would be the strangest
would be if we ended up with a cyclone in the Gulf instead of a hurricane. That is, turning the opposite direction!

3. It is weird all over. We're going to have frost tonight in MA but
be in the 90's by Friday. Still have not bought flowers for the yard, its been too darn cold. My heat has gone on a couple of times this late afternoon.

If it does not warm up and be sunny, I doubt many of us will be able to plant gardens and expect any real crop.

8. Overnight low 46 in Colatown, high tomorrow 72.
I have a Netflix coming in, but suspect I'm going hiking. Just too beautiful to miss, assuming the mosquitoes at Congaree Swamp aren't too voracious.

and we had frost warnings last night. My columbine is in bud and my foxglove is blooming so I would have been very unhappy with frost!

My daughter in Florida said they can't even water the garden because of lack of rain

whoops! It rained today so her garden will be ok and my son in law wont have to sneak and water it any more:hide:

I'm enjoying the cooler temps. I dread the 80 degree plus days like the plague. I can't handle them. I get too hot then.
