Haruka's mother is fucking nuts -- that is all
It's too long to go into, but I have never met such a passive-aggressive controlling person in my life. My relatives are nuts, but in a NORMAL way (LeftyMom and Pacifist Patriot can vouch for that).

NEVER live only a few minutes away from your crazed in-laws, kids.

Jeebus.

So, to make me feel better, I want Loungers to tell about their crazy relatives!

1. My sister in law
refused to come to my wedding to her brother because she was convinced that I would not do his laundry or "feed him right"... :eyes:

Needless to say she was correct!

40. Been studying for the crumdgeonhood since I was about 25
Heard about a law in California regarding protests in the state capital building. Seems the law was passed specifically tailored to stop one cranky old man who gave 'em hell just about every day.
Decided that was that I wanted to be when I grew up.

22. Sister in Law has that cat mental illness
Must be contagious, as my brother used to be a neat freak and he puts up with hordes of cats. The smell makes me gag & puke and I have a really poor sense of smell. Cabinets destroyed from years of clawing by scores (yes, I know: 20 in a score, and I used plural correctly) of cats.

Oh, and she is a racist, narcissist, has a voice like the witch on the Wizard of Oz and she puts pinto beans in her spaghetti sauce.

No, I don't get there but about once every 15 years, why do you ask.

right down to the pinto beans, for which she should rot in hell, says this Italian-American woman.

My former MIL just keeps living, burned up all her money by turning into a bag of organs that requires constant care, but SHE REFUSES TO DIE.

Her son, my former husband, is furious with her for living so long.

So long.

That's what I said to him as I got on the plane and left him behind.

Yet, he still calls me to tell me things like this. Then I send his mother flowers. To encourage her to keep breathing ..........................

but it might make you feel better if I tell you about the time I sent my mother a love letter (email) meant for my sweetheart at the time.

OMG, I clicked send and knew right away. And it was a really really intimate type email.

I then had to email her (or did I call her? I've blocked it in my mind!) and say, um, just delete that email RIGHT NOW.

I never knew if she did or not. I still can hardly bear to remember that.

I suspect she read it first. Oh, the horror.

mother in law until the demented father in law married his 4th wife--yes, 4th at age 90 some--and then proceeded to let the witch convince him to write hubby out of the will after eliminating the trust to protect his assets. Why? It all had to go to her.

The bitch (I know, I insult mother dogs) lived to about 100 only recently dying. I'm sure she
spent or donated the multi million dollar estate she inherited before kicking off.

And..to make it worse..she's buried in the family plot so that anyone who goes to visit has
to see the site of her eternal rest (!). I have half a mind to hire someone to desecrate her grave.

63. I ended up writing a play about the FIL, hubby, the 4th wife, and hubby's sisters.
Nobody could make this stuff up. The marriage to 4th wife was done in secret--NOBODY from family was invited--and the attorney hubby consulted said, "If he can zip his pants, he's competent." That's Florida.

What a nightmare.
