Ok...You can stop raining now.
And quit with the thunder and lightning while you're at it.
Damn sky.

I have a feeling he's going to have to wait until tomorrow. P.U.
The other morning the lightning was setting off people's car alarms.

9. Loved the last hour of showers we've had!
I came back from a 2-week trip to Ireland to find 4 foot tall weeds in my backyard. My sprinkers have yet to be turned on this spring.

Hated the hail on Sunday - how about you?

That's gotta be scary!

17. I had golf ball sized hail at my house
I've never seen anything like it - my front yard was a mix of hail and leaves shredded from my trees. My sister got tagged pretty good with a couple of big hail bombs and her car received a number of divots.

Crazy spring weather - either too hot & dry or tornados, hail and lightning.

Happy Spring!

19. We dodged the hail this time
My Uncle spent a lot of money on the garden this year I hope it survives hail season.

6. I don't understand why...
...if we can have oil andgas pipelines that traverse the country, we can't create a water pipeline, that will take the excess water from places that don't need it, and send it off to the folks who are suffering from drought.

8. oh its coming - and we already do that in the west
read Cadilac Desert
google Central Arizona Project
there has been serious talk about a pipeline from the terminus of the CAP (which is water from the Colorado River on the western border of the state) west of Tucson over this way to the San Pedro watershed (far southeastern corner of the state) to augment pumping from the basin. Lots of lawsuits and studies. :banghead:

10. Not the kind of pipeline I had in mind...
I meant something that would channel excess water from flooded areas to places where there's drought.

At the same time, there need to be restrictions that require responsible use of the water that exists, particularly in the Southwest. For example, it seems kind of silly to plant a thirsty crop like cotton in drought-prone areas.

Sans the thunder and lightning. I like it, but my critters cower.

14. Where are you?
I feel a little guilty complaining. We had a horrible drought here a couple of years ago.
