No good deed goes unpunished #26: A former client of mine and her husband invited a 19 year old
friend of their eldest son to move in with them after he was thrown out of his parents home. They had known the kid for several years. Although he had been in trouble at home and school they always found him to be respectful of them and their home.

During the period he lived with them (three weeks) he was in confrontations with a number of neighbors and threatened a local business owner. They told him he would have to leave. The day after he moved out their home was broken into and a fire started in the kitchen. The house and its contents were a total lose.

The fire is under investigation.

1. Pass the love. I suggest a retaliatory fire to his parent's house.
After all, like Lebowski's rug was pissed on, so this kid was mad at the wrong family.

6. yup, thats a clear sign that something may be wrong
unfortunately people think they can be the one to change the person or tame them, often with distasterous results, but as humas we keep on trying.
