Is anyone watching Curb Your Enthusiasm?
Larry was just about to hook up with a girl to fulfill his 10 year anniversary "gift" from Cheryl. They began making out and, all of the sudden, he stopped and had a disgusted look on his face. The camera then panned to a picture of Bush. He said "You've got a picture of Bush? Are you...a...Republican?" She said "Yes Larry, I'm a Republican." He gave her the most disgusting look and then the scene ended at that. Classic.

1. I absolutely love that show. It's going to be a classic. Years from now
people will be talking about it and Larry David.

His editorial in the NY Times about how he can now stop feeling guilty about being in the National Guard had me in tears. I can't imagine what life would be like being around a guy like that, but I am sure that it would be interesting and fun.

2. Great self-referential twist
With Brooks and Bancroft in the bar... echoes the movie where Max and Bloom go the the bar thinking the show's going to be a stiff, and it turns out to be a hit.

10. Oh, I get it now
I thought the people in back of Brooks and Bancroft who were talking about the show had the same deliberate character as show actors.

Makes sense now...

6. Yeah, a deal breaker
no full benefits extended to those of the conservative persuasion. I'm totally with Larry. I could not follow-through with a photo of Bush in the room.

7. Same here.
Fortunately, my girlfriend is further to the left than me on most issues. However, she did come out of the bedroom and give me shit for waking her up as I was laughing out loud at the TV!

13. Carville and wife
Their first time was probably like this: They are arguing politics and it gets more and more intense and finally they start screaming names at each other.

Then, having yelled themselves into panting mode, the room goes silent as they stare at each other. And they lock lips like a car crash.

15. I was having Strangers with Candy
flashbacks with him and his wife on that one. A little bit of Chuck Knoblet in there. What a great season finale for Larry David. The Bush joke was the icing on the cake

16. How great to see Ann Bancroft again.
She certainly deserves some diva tributes like Bette Davis, Gloria Swanson, et al. Darn look at her resume she's as good and fabulous as the rest of them.

21. If you liked Seinfeld you'll like CYE
If you hated Seinfeld, you'll hate CYE. I didn't like CYE at first either, but it seriously grows on you.
