Serious computer warning if you use Windows XP
there is a serious vulnerability in Internet Explorer. Windows has only released a temporary work around (so it must be pretty serious, as they rarely do this) to protect your computer (until they can figure out a proper fix).

3. Ditto, I use Firefox, Safari, and Sea Monkey (Netscape's replacement)
I'm so used to Netscape's mail server and webpage designer, I picked up Mozilla's Sea Monkey when Netscape support ended.

I use Safari when I want to view pdf files without using another application (don't even have Acrobat).

And Firefox is the most stable and safe browser for everything else.

Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 09:07 AM by hobbit709
Does everything Acrobat Reader does without all the bloat.

Edited to add. It plugs right into Seamonkey too.

23. As a kid, I was more taken with the human family picture. A whole, happy, nuclear family.
I had a mom and grandma and sister, I know that deep inside I wanted something that would be family fun as shown in the picture.

Still, I would have enjoyed them all by myself.

:P

24. I know nothing,
but there's something about Adobe Acrobat that just pisses me off.

Is this what I should be using with my Firefox?

And, thank you.................

14. People who work with big corporations.
Our company is still using IE 6 ... and if you want to order services from AT&T, they only support Internet Explorer. No Firefox for them.

I knew about the problem but didn't have a link for the fix so I've been using Google Chrome. But I was missing all my bookmarks.
