Oscar Mayer memorial to be held at Staples Center

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa warned city residents today that the upcoming Oscar Mayer memorial, to be held at Staples Center on July 15th, could trigger a critical mustard shortage in the greater L.A. area.

"I have been assured that the French's factory has been working in 'round-the-clock shifts to prevent this scenario," stated Villaraigosa in a press conference earlier this morning. "The important thing is that we want friends and fans of the man to gather and share their memories of their first wiener."

A full turnout is expected. A random lottery drawing held at regional Der Wienerschnitzel restaurants will determine the ticket winners.

Mayer's first wife, Rosalie, died in 1998. He married Geraldine Fitzpatrick in 1999.

3. The sad part is I liked the Oscar Mayer lingo better than MJ song catalogue.
