Kinda hinky to me. I wouldn't risk it. Keep it away from the dog as well--he's eyeballin' it.

10. If you can see mythological gods swirling in a cloud of goo on the surface, then no. |
|
Otherwise, smell it. If it doesn't smell like vomit, it is probably okay. Feed it to someone you don't like and wait 12 hours. If they aren't dead, go ahead and eat it.
Standard refrigerator rules, you know.

14. You haven't defined the purpose of the potato salad. |
|
Could be viable for many things and not others.

21. Leave it out of the fridge for a couple of days |
|
If the green parts get longer and fluffier, then indeed your tater salad is viable.

23. I guess I'm cornfused |

I don't see what viable has to do with you eating it. Unless you are waiting for it to reach puberty first.
As far as it being edible goes, of course it's edible. Just remember that refrigeration is only a modern invention. Humankind lived for thousands of years without it. Imagine all the rancid food people ate prior to the development of the refrigerator.

24. The acidity in the mayo may keep it edible longer than you think but I wouldn't risk it. If you |

have to ask it is too late to eat it.
