Anyone see the theater and DVD versions of "Slumdog"? |
|
It seems like they made a bunch of changes. Most notably, there were more torture scenes in the theater version--which I'm sort of glad they cut some of those. And the subtitles were sort of annoying in the DVD version. Weren't they just standard, at the bottom of the screen subtitles in the theater version?

I don't remember that in the theater.

And I found it annoying. I love movies with subtitles, but I found it distracting that they bounced all over the place. I wasn't a big fan of Slumdog.

There ought to be a law that all subtitles be in yellow. Period. I hate it when they're white on a white background. At least put a drop shadow on the type!
