7. Steve is a control freak. Sadly that means

he must control both the hardware and software of his empire. Works well enough for ipods and phones, but also has kept Mac OS X out of the mainstream. He only wants it running on his beautiful unupgradable boxes. Want to put in a new CPU and graphics card for gaming? Tough, or pay +3000 for the workstation Mac Pro. Apple does nnt produce a Desktop. Their products use Intel's mobile chip sets.

But you're married to what you buy upfront. Between PC hardware and various different OS's, I'll take the cheaper upgradeable box.

13. I would never buy a PC box if you can't change the graphics card.

For example. only Nvida 8000 series or above support hardware acceleration of video. I can't stand (not) watching a bunch of dropped frames. Each new series starts out expensive then ends up cheap. Why do you have to buy it new at maximum $$$
