our former cat, 'Miss Moo' has returned to our home. She only wants to be |
|
on the porch but she just turned up one day.
For those of you who don't know or remember, this little cat left our home because she got tired of her much larger brothers picking on her all the time.
Nearly 2 years later, I was out walking my daughter's dog and a neigbor asked to pet him, and she started telling me about the little cat that had moved in to their yard as their dog was going through his last days. And she stayed. So she is describing the cat and I just knew it was Moo, and it was! So we have stopped by to see her once in a while, and they love her.
This was over 2 years ago, as the cats are now 6 yrs old.
Well, a couple months ago, there she was on our patio, looking sort of hungry. So we gave her a snack and some water and visited with her a while. Took some photos etc.
Now she shows up a couple of times a week. We will just look out and there she is, staring at the back door because she knows if she stares long enough one of us will come to the door.
She refuses to come in the house because she caught a glimpse of one of the Boys and wanted no part of that.
The Boys are about 14 pounds apiece. She is about 6 pounds, a very small framed cat, quite petite. They are big and tall and long, not just fat cats.
It is nice to have her around, and I don't care if she stays in our yard full time. She always was a sweet thing.

1. My daughter's cat did the same thing - after moving from a one |
|
room apartment to her brother's house and then a week later to a co-op building with 10 people and 3 other cats, her cat had enough and moved down the street.
