9. Yep. Barbaric
That someone would strangle a 65-year old man with mental illness they robbed and then brag about it, saying "Dead men can't talk."

Or that someone would shoot a 64-year old man three times, murdering him in his sleep, so they could steal his car.

21. If murder is barbarism, then execution must also be
Even if state sanctioned.

The standard for a guilt conviction is without reasonable doubt, not without absolute doubt. Under such a system it's just a matter of time before the law of averages dictates that an innocent person will be executed, and that's even if you discount all nefariousness and assume absolute integrity in the process. This amounts to premeditated murder with malice aforethought.

6. I just want to say this:
I'm glad I'm a citizen of a country which doesn't have the death penalty and no website to show off some last words. That is very sad.

8. I couldn't agrue with that
I found the statements that showed true remorse to be the most disturbing. It just feels so wrong to kill someone that finally gets what they did and is truly sorry.

Some were quite sad, others were silly. The guy who wouldn't have a last meal because of the babies that were aborted who never had a first meal: :eyes:

12. Jesus Christ -- Texas is a killing field.
Some of these men are probably innocent. Some are guilty. None should be put to death. Life in prison for the guilty, that's the way to go.
