Spooky and the vet,... advice |
|
I know that some of you may know that the commie and I just lost our cat Montana about six weeks ago. He had a massive stroke. His brother (not biological) Spooky had a bad night last nigh and is still acting a bit odd today. He already has a vet appointment on Monday. Question is: Should I take him today? Last night he refused food for the first time in his 11 year life. He acted spacey and unsteady and had a small hairball. He crashed out hard. I felt him all over no pain. Everything in the litter box seemed normal. Today he ate normally and it "normal" waste. He just a little lazy acting. He has been acting a little down since Montana went on to his kitty reward. A new kitten will soon be here though.

1. Lazy or lethargic? There is a difference. Lethargic is something to report to the vet. I call mine |

3. You mentioned eating and pooping. How about drinking and peeing? |

5. Well as long as you think he is lazy and not lethargic, and he is doing everything |
|
else normally, it sounds like it isn't a rush emergency. BUT I am not a vet. Call your vet just to be sure.
If nothing else it will make you feel better. :)
