This went on for months!

I was in a terrible quandary. I wanted to adopt a dog. I knew I had to wait until school was over so I could stay at home and bond with my girl during the summer.

Yet knowing this...I kept searching on PetFinder. I would spend way too much time there...all for naught. Looking at the beautiful girls that I couldn't have...

So I'd come here...and the cycle would always begin. Inchworm would post, I would click his critter link. It was a never ending cycle...PetFinder, Inchworm, PetFinder, Inchworm, PetFinder....This went on for forever....

Inchworm was driving me nuts!!


I have no clue as to what he was even posting! Now at least I can read his posts : )

8. I just this morning watched that video.

I was so caught up by Maeve's picture I totally forgot to watch it last night. LOL That is one funny ass video. :rofl:

I watched it with the sound off the first time as is my habit with so many of these video postings and that made it even funnier when I watched it with the sound on.

2. She is beautiful

5. Yes!

It took about three weeks before she'd leave my side...she would have to lie on the floor at my feet, and whine at the bathroom door....She latched right on, but now becoming more independent. I still have to stay outside with her...And she insists on sleeping with me. Must be because she slept with her brother for two years.
I can't buy her any treats, though. Anything....as soon as she gets one I have to go outside with her so she can bury it! She's a funny girl....

My little dog has just chucked both my pillows off the bed to hide from fireworks, and the big one sounds like he has reached bone gnawing at his own groin. I hope your girl gives you as much joy. :)

Yes, she is driving me nuts in a good way....She has some peculiar habits. She must have had a litter, and I'll find out next week at the vet's office....She treats her fuzzy hedgehog like a baby, and whines over squeaky toys.
She buried the hedgehog in my couch:o but learned not to do that :-)

Funny you mention squeaky toys. I can't give squeaky toys to my dachshund. She freaks when she accidently makes it "scream." I never put two and two together and thought about mother/nurture and stuff.

I had a spayed female years ago...spayed young, yet she took care of a stray baby kitty.
It's got to be innate...
