3. Aquafina *is* tap water
http://money.cnn.com/2007/07/27/news/companies/pepsi_coke/

I am lucky to live very close to some of the finest natural springs on earth and fill 5 gallon jugs on a regular basis.

Bottled water is completely unregulated and is doing horrible things to the environment. We should all take a very serious look at our consumption. Besides the sheer number of plastic bottles produced each year, the energy required to manufacture and transport these bottles to market severely drains limited fossil fuels. Bottled water companies, due to their unregulated use of valuable resources and their production of billions of plastic bottles have presented a significant strain on the environment.

4. I drink water from
my handy dandy reverse osmosis filter, and tha is just because it is well water , If I lived in a city or town with a water tx plant I would drink it straight. Drinking water from a plastic bottle just does not make sense especially for people who do not recycle .

and oh yeah---the carcinogens in the plastic are kinda dangerous

12. I think a more interesting question is how many still drink regular tap water
rather than bottled water. I drink both and sometimes when I drink tap I almost get that feeling that I am drinking something bad for you.

14. If I am buying a bottle of water, then Ozarka. I have a Britta pitcher
and a filtering water dispenser on the fridge.

At work, we get cases of Ozarka delivered to our break room twice a week, and I grab a couple of bottles each delivery. We also have a nice filtered water dispenser and I refill the Ozarka bottles from that.

Bottled water is handy if you are going to be out and about, but I don't keep a case lying around the house anymore.

i won't buy regular bottled water because we have excellent water here and it would be a complete waste of money in addition to the environmental impact and whatever carcinogens might be in the plastic.
