It's the absolute funniest BBC program I've seen in a long while,
Edited on Sat Jul-11-09 08:51 AM by Heidi
and I only started watchng after it already was in re-runs. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Britain

My favorite LB character is Daffyd Thomas, a gay guy who believes he is the only gay person in his village and, in fact, the world.

4. Fiction?
Gilmore Girls, Ballykissangel, Northern Exposure. (I'm all about quirky little towns with weird people, but not so much that I could stomach Twin Peaks if you know what I'm sayin'.)

Nonfiction? Top Gear. I want to learn how to drive like the Stig! POWERRRRRR!

6. just asked my husband: his answer...Northern Exposure, without doubt
because he liked all the characters so much. Our daughter is gifting him with a DVD every year for Christmas until we have the whole series.

Bally K to a lesser extent because he isn't sure he would want to be around Liam and Donal all that much. We only recently discovered BallyK and watched the whole thing through Netflix. A jewel for certain.

42. My liver would never recover from a month with Bourdain.
Plain and simple, it would do me in. Sure would be a heck of a way to go, however.

Imagine the horror of being stuck with Andrew Zimmer for a month eating the stuff he does... I'm thinking a massive daily dose of antibiotic would be an absolute must, and I'm also wondering about a case of Kaopectate.

How about a month on Iron Chef or Top Chef? I'm thinking I could do that if I didn't have to actually compete. Judge would be the perfect role for me, I think.

17. Gilligan's Island. I'd be the guy who'd already made my decision between Ginger and Mary Anne.

At the end of the month the Professor would have fixed the boat, but I'd go out there at midnight and mess it up again and in the morning say "OH MY GOD, look at what the cannibals from the other side of the island have done" and as Mary Anne gently sobbed I would put my arm over her shoulder and say "Please, honey, don't cry, it will be all right" and then we would go to my grass hut and I would console her. For hours.

79. So long as it's a fantasy, I'll say Star Trek.
And, why not, I'll be a woman, a high ranking technical specialist.

During my week aboard the Enterprise I'll clobber Captain Kirk during hand-to-hand combat practice, I'll defeat Spock in three dimensional chess, and I'll trash a hotel room having sex with a Klingon at a lonely outpost in the Neutral Territory.

When the hotel sends Star Fleet a bill for the damages, Kirk will immediately surmise how it happened. He'll glare at me with a restrained grimace, report to Star Fleet that it was an "incident" between a Klingon and an unnamed member of the Enterprise crew, and then quietly deduct the amount from my shore leave account as he pays the charges out of his.

Star Fleet will, of course, assume Kirk had sex with a Klingon.
