He gave me one of the 1/2 pound Omaha Steaks filet mignons from his private stash, plus a round loaf of sourdough, a pumpkin muffin, and a "pineapple upside down mini-Bundt cake" from a local artisan bakery.

I grilled the steak, which came out perfect...inside was a nice ruby red (but not bloody...not a fan of "blood rare"). I let it sit for five minutes vefore cutting it and all of the juices had stayed inside, just as they were supposed to.

3. This one didn't need it
I actually thought about that while I walked to the market today, and decided against it. But the grill recipe I used worked like a charm so maybe next time.

2. Nice .............
I love Omaha Steaks - have never gotten a bad piece of meat from them.

Always - ALWAYS - let the meat sit for five minutes. Makes all the difference in the world.

What a nice attorney you have!
