What do most message boards have against Second Life?

Because i was on one board and when i posted about sl and posted a few articles and posted a pic of my avatar as a fox, one of the people accused me of being a retread and i got banned.

So what is the issue that most boards have against sl?

And for some reason i feel marginalized,because i feel if someone doesn't like something then they shouldn't take it out on others,because i have friends in the platform as well.

And Looks like Obama held a meeting in sl.

8. Marginalized. A furry? Say it ain't so, Joe...

Furry culture is marginal by definition, and sorta weird to most people. On a general interest forum, it's unlikely to get a really good response. That could be because of that odd news story here a while back with the GOOPer operative soliciting a juvenile to participate in some yiffy fun.

Maybe you didn't hear about that. We certainly did here at DU.

Now, I'm sure your SL bistro, or whatever, isn't going to have any sexual overtones, but most RL folks aren't interested in such things.

that i can be a dj on sl with winamp and shoutcast.

Only thing is that you need a good connection,with my connection it's 100.0 mbps so the music stutters when i'm steaming it at times.
