1. In the past and in some venues, people still say I act very mature for my age...
True, at age 27 to be speaking of certain things was an utter sign of maturity, not found in others my age...

Again, it depends on the venue. Which can be a many splintered thing.

(for some venues, I act rather younger... and since I'm a gen X'er, what is age? :D )

7. sometimes judging by your posts
I forget how young you are

Have fun!

I told my 50 yr old daughter to dance and laugh every day.
and she does!
Forget the people who think you should "grow up" , meaning becoming a fuddy duddy.

2. What do you think?

I take it as some idiot assuming they know what's best for me, when really it's just what they THINK is best for me based on their experiences instead of mine.

4. I think it is a crock

If I acted my age I would act like an old woman and I refuse to do that.

When we were kids my older sister thought it made her sound "grown up" to tell me to act my age.

6. It's all an illusion.
I'm 41. What's being a grown up? A house and mortgage? Marriage? I see people my age and they're miserable with their lives. People I went to school with look 20 years older than me. They are the bug-eyed, bow-legged normal man that I never want to be.

Fuck 'em, to be blunt. :)

3. Yes
I have no clue what it may mean except that maybe I try and actually have fun at age 51.

5. Try it at 68!
pretty soon they will just think it is senility LOL

I get the impression that is what some of my friends and family thinks anyway.

but one thing age teaches us is to just have the I don't care what you think attitude

10. Every fucking day.
If the s.o. says the word "adult" in my earshot one more time, I'm going to hulk out, I swear to bog.
